The escalation in the Trade War has his the SE coast of China’s Manufacturing export hubs hard. Millions of manufacturing plants are facing shutdowns because orders in the US have dried up. 1/3 of textiles are sold to the US. Will this force China to come to the Table with the Trump Administration and negotiate a fair trade deal? Will US Retail face shortages amid Trade Tensions? People in the US don’t realize how much our Retail Stores rely on Chinese labor. They rely heavily on China to produce goods and much of the clothes found in stores across America. How this shutdown will effect retail stores like Walmart, Costco, and Target, is yet to be determined. It would be smart to stock up on necessities where needed. When demand is high and supply is low prices will definitely go up.
