- The National Hurricane Center is drawing two areas in the Atlantic where systems could develop.
- The National Hurricane Center has designated an area of disturbed weather off the Southeast and mid-Atlantic coasts as Invest 95L, and forecasters say there is a chance it could strengthen into Tropical Storm Dexter on Sunday or Monday.
- Residents in New Jersey and New York were rattled by a magnitude 3.0 earthquake on Saturday evening.
- Dangerous rip currents, higher tides and strong surf conditions are expected to persist along the East Coast from the Jersey Shore to the South Carolina Lowcountry due to a stalled front and disorganized low-pressure systems. The National Weather Service is warning swimmers of life-threatening rip currents.
- Utah is under a 30-day state of emergency as crews continue battling the Monroe Canyon wildfire and the other large fires that have burned so far in 2025.
