Scripture of the Day

1There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit Romans 8:1 NKJV.

Stop beating yourself up by living in regret for what was done in the past. The “Old You” is no more. For when Christ died, we died, when Christ rose from the Dead, We rose from the Dead. It is a Mystery to understand. When we put our Faith in Christ, we laid down our life as a living sacrifice, to live for Him, we essentially died to self and were born again into the Spirit of God. Receiving New Life as a Spirit Filled New Creation. 2 Corinthians 5-17. Those who are in Christ are a “New Creation”. Jesus said, “who ever wants to follow Me, must deny himself, pick up his cross and follow Me.-Matthew:16-24. Like its been said, “If you don’t learn from the past then you will repeat it.” It is wise then to acknowledge what you did wrong that separated you from fellowship with God, and Repent. Repenting means to turn around and go the other direction. Turn away from it and ask the Lord to forgive you and wash you in His shed blood shed for you at the Cross. He will give you a New Life, a Hope and a Future.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.- John 15:13. Christ who was without Sin took our place and bore the punishment of God for the World.

God made Him who knew no sin to become sin for us, that we might become the Righteousness of God.-2nd Corinthians 5:21.

Those who put their Faith in Christ and turn away from Sin by repenting, are no longer dead in their trespasses but made alive in Christ. God sees no longer a sinner but a Saint. A Redeemed Child of God. We are covered by the Blood of the Lamb and therefore made righteous in Gods sight.

( Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Isaiah 1:18.)

For by Grace we have been saved through faith, not of yourselves it is a gift of God.- Ephesians 2:8

Saved not by our own doing or work, but rather as a gift from God. So when the Devil tries to beat you down, just rebuke those thoughts in Jesus Name and declare you are a New Creation in Christ. No longer do you have to repeat following the way of the world living according to the flesh. IE Drinking, Smoking, Swearing, watching filthy movies but rather walk according to the Spirit. Keeping your mind fixed on things that are above. -Colossians 3:2. Having the Holy Spirit within us God give us a heart to love others. Be filled with His Holy Spirit and be willing to do His will instead of our own. Then God will fill you with overflowing Joy and Peace and you will enter into His Love. Not by our works but as a gift ready to be received.

Sonship Through the Spirit
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.-Romans 1-17, NKJV
